- So this is one of those things I will fill out a bit later......But just to set the record straight...
I am a husband of over 10 years, a dad to 3 inspiring boys, and hopefully a good friend. Photography is what I was meant to do. It is in my bones, when I travel about I can't help but look for cool locations. When I see a person I always seem to have a camera in my head wondering what would be the right angle. Being a wedding photographer is a great life - thank you. Is this too sappy? Like I said - I will fill it out some more later...

I am so bad. I know I have been away for a while but I just needed to get a whole bunch of wedding albums out. That and some time off for family has put me in great spirits for the new season ahead.
I am still going to blog some great weddings from the past season though. Next up are Kelvin and Angela. What I liked about this wedding was the great blend of real meaningful “moments’ with some pretty cool location editorial images. Enjoy!

In the first I am asleep on the steps and in the second I am with my older sister. I am about 4 years old in each.
So when I think back to Doan and Daniel’s wedding I think what stands out for me is the word FUN. Yep - a great party. From the Bridesmaid’s and Groomsman’s to the Families, everyone really got into the spirit of the wedding day as an excuse for a great party!
Ok so the flu went through the house last week. What a drag. First Marco then Robert and lastly me. I think we got it from Paul..HA Jessica and Anthony where one of my last clients from 2009. They where really relaxed just said “no sappy kissing images” - cool. The day went beautifully with the awesome help of Wedding Planner extraordinaire, Machel Reeves of Machel Reeves Special Events.

How was your holiday? Do anything exciting? Me? Not really. It seemed liked I worked like crazy right up until Christmas Eve ( which just happens to be my birthday, ya that’s right) and then I took a 2 week vacation. But now I am totally ready to get back to my passion - wedding photography! I can’t even remember the last time I update dated my web site so I new it was time! I have changed the collours as well, I am bored with the Tiffany Blue thing. The blog will get a refresh soon too to co-ordinate. Hey one thing at a time. So the wedding gallery is almost all 2009 images with a few older images here and there. The eng session is the same as before - that session still looks totally fresh to me so it stay. A lot of clients have asked me how I choose the images tat finally et on the web. To be honest its more about how I felt at the that moment than any greater master plan. I can tell you that I will be makinga few changes so look for another update in a few weeks.

What’s this, a summer Eng session on Christmas Eve, well get used to my crazy blogging. I have dozens of Eng sessions and weddings I didn’t get to this past year and I still really want to share them with you. Sheri and Andy’s session seemed like a great choice for today - Its cold outside and who couldn’t use a little summer time memories on a day like this. I am running out the door for some family stuff…. enjoy and talk soon.

Does any one watch The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos? Well I am a big fan. I usually down load episodes and watch/listen while editting weddings. Last night George had a very special guest, Keith Desserich, the father of a very special girl named Elena. I don’t mean to bring everyone down during this festive time of year but I thought the message was really worth passing on….

It was a beautiful day. Yes a few tears but mostly lots of joy, laughs and along the way a few great photographs. Hmm what to say….I think its pretty obvious, Jen is a very sexy lady, she just has that look! All I had to do is find some great light and these guys did the rest. The last image in the group though, might be one of my favs. Ryan just looks so full of Joy. What makes a beautiful photograph? Great light is always a good start.
